Don’t be fooled by this company like I was. As a stylist and hair extension specialist for 20 plus years I provide quality hair to my guest. As a stylist I always try and support other stylist. Trying to do both, I decided to try Miss Boss Beauty extensions. As I was told by Angelica that her company has been is the research stage for years and as a stylist herself she wanted to come out with nothing but the best for her clients and other stylist. She also said if there was ever any issues with the hair that her company was local to my area and exchanging the hair would never be an issue. I went ahead and purchased a color ring and one bundle of hair the day she and her partner came into my salon. As I always do with any new hair company I try the hair out on myself first. The hair sat in my cabinet for about a month until I took my Bellami extensions out and Unraveled the Miss Boss Beauty hair. Immediately, I could see the difference in quality. The hair had a thick weft but thin hair with quite a bit of short “ Mustache” hair at the top. I decided to just put one single row in and cut it to The length of my hair because it was to thin Through the length and too thick at the weft to Do anything else with. I had one of my stylist put it in for me and we washed it. The extension hair was Tangly, slow to dry, and did not curl. So I decided to light a small Piece of the extension hair on fire to see if I smelled plastic or hair. PLASTIC! I reached out to Angelica and she was Immediately defensive and not businesslike at all. Totally different person than come into my salon. Their hair comes with no warranty like stated. The only refund I was offered was for the color ring they sell you for $100.00. Also I had to take it to the post office and pay for shipping if I want a refund. ( Any other extension company I’ve ever worked with would send out a prepaid shipping label and never argue about an exchange or a return on new hair.) BTW the color ring only has a few colors available and all other colors have to be ordered from China and take weeks to get in. That should’ve been my first and only red flag but I was trying to support a “ local woman owned business”. Anyways after sending pictures and videos as requested by Angelica all I got was more frustrated. She argued with me via text and her final text to me was…

We ensure high quality in our hair extensions, but our guarantee applies to unused products, or matting, shedding as we cannot account for external products used on hair. If there was an issue with the product prior to putting it on yourself we would have gladly take the product back based on the pictures you sent it does not look like the hair had any shedding or tangles in it.

The hair was and is cheep not 100 human hair or even quality better than someone without without a cosmetology license would buy off of Amazon. 80% of the hair was unused and unwashed. I text her for the first time immediately after installing one single row and washing one time. Nothing out of the normal for hair extensions. Her lack of support for her product and fellow stylist is sad. Do better! I’m just glad I always try any new hair out on myself. If this was one of my guest I would be embarrassed and more Frustrated.

The point of this long review is to Warren other stylist not to get involved. Over the past 4 years the hair extension industry has went downhill with quality as a whole but backing your product goes along way with stylist and clients. Anyone that knows hair knows this.
